The Silver Creek Township Planning and Zoning Board convened on April 1, 2025, recorded attendance, approved previous meeting minutes and addressed three new-business items. The minutes list attendees and show Jesse Dickinson moved to approve the prior meeting minutes, seconded by Tom Vanek; the motion carried.
Under new business the minutes record approvals for requests associated with Sara Helman and Skies Limit LLC (motions carried) and a recorded motion regarding Wave Armor that included a condition requiring the easterly gravel drive be widened to a 60-foot minimum and accessible for use as a turnaround. The meeting concluded with a motion by Brandon Geyen to adjourn, seconded by Ryan Nelson.
Several comments in the minutes raise local access and traffic concerns (easement at 101st, turnaround/cul-de-sac possibilities, and traffic at 148th/Devitt and County Rd 8/148th). The minutes do not consistently record vote tallies or enforcement/verification steps for conditions noted in motions.
