Park Rapids honors employees with service awards from five to 26 years

The Park Rapids City Council recognized staff service milestones during the July 14 meeting. Certificates were presented to Angel Weasner, Kindra Hoffman, Austin Thelen, and Steven Malm for five years of service; Jeff Appel for 10 years; Sabin Rasmus and Joseph Rittgers for 15 years; and Carmen Lockhart for 26 years.
Councilmember Stone praised city staff, saying their efforts do not go unnoticed and that they are “what makes Park Rapids such a great place to live and to visit.” Councilmember Little also publicly thanked staff for another good audit in the meeting’s closing comments.
