Council reviews prior strategic items and adjourns after follow-up assignments

Administrator Weasner reviewed previously requested items from the 2023 strategic planning session and marked those that are completed or in progress, including water and sewer rates, the long-term utility plan, municipal liquor store expansion, parks funding, fee schedule updates, industrial park expansion, and a cannabis ordinance. She and council identified items to remain on the list such as a compensation study, the Armory building, updated radios for the fire department and an ADA accessibility inventory.
At the conclusion of the discussion Administrator Weasner asked councilmembers to forward any additional ideas. Councilmember Christensen moved to adjourn, Councilmember Engholm seconded, and the motion carried unanimously; the work session adjourned at 7:43 p.m. (SEG 003).
