Facility Manager Francisco Carmona presented several facilities updates and projects at the Dec. 11 meeting. Carmona said the campus well is currently at 52 feet and that parts for the fire alarm system are expected to arrive during winter break; installation will proceed once parts arrive. He described plans to install 4-inch drainage piping to redirect rain overflow from a problematic grass perimeter area and said maintenance staff will complete that work.
The board approved Fox Asphalt Maintenance Proposal No. 3251 to repair the east parking area (approximately 20 by 30 feet) with updated parking markings at a cost of $3,575. The motion passed unanimously (Ayes: Gisler, Witzel; Absent: Walker).
