Silver Creek P&Z approves variance for Endicott Avenue parcels

On Sept. 3, 2024, the Silver Creek Township Planning and Zoning Board approved a variance requested for two parcels at 9571 and 9611 Endicott Ave NW in the Millstone Lake area.
Buyer Kelsea McCormack and seller Rod Hebrink appeared before the board to explain the request. The application asked to alter existing divisions so that one resulting parcel would contain 5.7 acres of prime soils (the ordinance maximum is 2.5 acres) and would have 285 feet of lake frontage (the requirement is 300 feet). The request cited Chapters 155.026 and 155.048(B) of the Wright County Code of Ordinances as the regulatory provisions requiring the variance. Member Mike Helman moved to approve the variance; Brandon Geyen seconded and the motion carried 7-0.
