Premier Lakes reports lakes in good shape, ups service during rainy season

Representatives from Premier Lakes updated the River Ridge Board on Aug. 27, 2024, reporting that the neighborhood lakes and preserves are in good condition and that routine maintenance and repairs are underway. Bill Kurth told the Board that "the lakes appear to be in very good shape," crews removed fallen trees from the FPL ditch and outfall before an approaching tropical storm, and repairs to the Lake H1‑B nano‑bubbler will be completed the following day.
Premier Lakes said it changed service frequency from quarterly to monthly during the rainy season to address increased vegetation growth and maintenance needs. Staff and Premier will present proposals for the electrical portion of a project to relocate a compressor in the Masters Lake. The Board received the update during the meeting and directed staff to follow up on the compressor proposals and finalize the bubbler repair.
