The board waived the formal bid process and approved purchasing a 1,000 gallon‑per‑minute Franklin pump from Layne Christianson Company for $99,081.20. The minutes note it is unknown whether additional costs will be incurred for outside electrical work or further Energenecs services during installation.
The approvals allow staff to order the equipment and schedule installation; the IPRF grant will offset part of the shoring box cost. Staff will report back on installation status and any additional contractor costs.
