To finish exterior work, the board voted 5–0 to waive the formal bid process and accept a proposal from Wirkus Paving in the amount of $33,982 to extend paving in the facility parking lot. Trustee Kraus made the motion and Trustee Stacey seconded; the minutes state, "The work will be done next week." Staff said remaining items must be completed before or shortly after move‑in, and the facility will rely on Comcast for communications services before operations begin.
The vote authorizes the contractor to schedule the paving work; staff will continue to track remaining punch‑list items and confirm the internet/phone installation schedule before finalizing the move.
