River Ridge CDD adopts amended FY2024–25 budget

The River Ridge Community Development District Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 2024-07 on Aug. 27, 2024, approving the district's Fiscal Year 2024/2025 budget, with the fiscal year running Oct. 1, 2024, through Sept. 30, 2025. The motion, made by Mr. Kurt Blumenthal and seconded by Mr. Robert Twombly, passed "with all in favor."
District Manager Chuck Adams told the Board that "the Fiscal Year 2025 budget in the agenda is not correct," and staff corrected scrivener errors before the vote, including an amended description for the "Street sweeping" line item. Mrs. Cleo Adams opened and closed the public hearing; no property owners spoke and no public emails were reported.
The approved resolution authorizes annual appropriations and permits budget amendments per the resolution language. The Board’s action sets the district’s appropriations for ordinary operations and capital planning for the coming fiscal year. The resolution was adopted as amended at the Aug. 27 meeting.
