Trustee Weissbohn moved to approve use of TIF funds to purchase a wayfinding sign from All Right Signs for $6,078.95 to assist downtown businesses. Trustee Diachenko seconded and the motion carried. Trustee Kraus recommended the Economic Development Committee develop guidelines for how businesses are listed on the sign.
The approval uses TIF District #1 funds to pay for the sign; the Economic Development Committee will work on posting and listing criteria so the signage reflects agreed standards. The minutes record the purchase amount and the Board's direction for committee review.
