The Salina Board of Education approved declaring 20 stadium lights and three 71‑passenger school buses as surplus property to be sold at fair market value. The motion was made by Leroy Monk and seconded by Greg Rice and passed 4–0 with one absence.
At the same meeting the board also approved surplus and proper disposal of expired diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). The minutes do not provide reserve prices or sale method; they record only that items were declared surplus and will be sold for fair market value and that expired DEF will be disposed properly.
These actions clear transportation and facilities items for disposition; district staff are responsible for arranging sale and disposal under applicable procurement and environmental rules.
