Loami awarded $600,000 OSLAD grant for open-space work

Mayor Steven Lambert announced the Village of Loami "was awarded the Open Space Land Acquisition and Development Grant Program (OSLAD) in the amount of $600,000.00," thanking Clerk Carissa Grider, Bill Roesch, Public Works Superintendent Kyle Langenfeld and Benton and Associates for their work on the application.
Lambert said Benton and Associates will attend the Feb. 2025 regular meeting to "talk through next steps." The mayor also urged board members and staff to begin thinking about priorities for the next fiscal year’s budget to accommodate the planned open-space work.
