Santa Fe South board reinstates member, elects new president

The Santa Fe South Schools, Inc. governance board voted Sept. 16 to reinstate Ericka Flores to the board and to elect Michael Brooks Jimenez as board president.
The motion to reinstate Flores was moved by Tyler Green and seconded by Dr. Ed Frick; the minutes record the outcome as “Motion Passed: 4-0.” Later in the meeting, Susan Agel moved and Dr. Ed Frick seconded a motion to appoint Michael Brooks Jimenez as Board President; that motion is recorded as passing 5-0. The board also appointed Dr. Ed Frick as Secretary/Treasurer by a 5-0 vote and voted 5-0 to table the nomination for Vice President.
Board procedural actions were taken by roll call at 6:07 p.m.; the minutes list board members Susan Agel, Michael Brooks-Jimenez, Rosy Trujillo, Dr. Ed Frick, Tyler Green and Ericka Flores as present and Vicky Primeaux as absent.
