The Salina Board of Education approved changes to the district’s negotiated agreement for fiscal year 2026 and separately approved the 2025–26 Support Employee Salary Schedule at its April 14 meeting. The negotiated agreement changes (Addendum A) were approved on a motion by Leroy Monk, seconded by Casey McWhirt; the motion passed with four votes in favor and one absence.
Separately, the board approved the support employee salary schedule by motion of Leroy Monk, seconded by Jarred Sorum. The action included an increase in the annual differentiation rate from $0.05 per hour to $0.10 per hour for support employees. The roll call vote on the salary schedule was McWhirt Yes, Sorum Yes, Ball Yes, Rice Absent, Monk Yes. Both actions were recorded in the meeting minutes as approved business for FY26.
