County says 425th Avenue construction to start next week; BRIC grant denied for bridge project

Sorenson reported that core samples taken on 215th Street “look good” with only a couple of spots needing extra consideration. He also said Redstone Dairy intends to move forward with a related project and will cover the associated costs. Sorenson informed the Board the BRIC grant application for Structure Number 39-070-041 was denied; he said the next step is to prepare bid-ready documents and resubmit the application after preparing the project for bidding.
No formal vote was required for the construction timing and sampling updates, but the Board approved a Right of Way application from East River Electric to place poles along CR204 (motion by Lundquist, second by Spilde).
