The Lowpoint-Washburn Board of Education unanimously approved the consent agenda at its April 15 regular meeting. The consent agenda encompassed prior meeting minutes, accounts payable and financial reports, Imprest fund transactions, and a human resources agenda that included notice/acceptance of resignations and employment recommendations.
Included in the human resources items were motions to employ Jessica Grebner and Heather Baker as Head Cook. President Monica Beltramea “asked for a motion for the approval of the consent agenda”; Bill moved and Youngman seconded. A roll call vote showed all members voting yes. The consent package also included a motion to destroy executive session recorded audio older than 18 months and a motion to keep certain executive session minutes closed, as specified in the board packet.
