At the committee reports portion of the meeting, Superintendent Bob Ketcham recommended disbanding the closed-session minutes committee. Ketcham said the management of closed-session minutes would be done in executive session with the full board beginning at the February meeting.
Board Member Chambers moved to disband the closed session minutes committee and Board Member Lawless seconded the motion. The motion passed on a roll call vote with five Yeas and no Nays. The change will shift responsibility for closed-session minute management from a small committee to the full board, to be addressed in closed executive session procedures.
