Lostant board accepts midyear financial report; revenues at 91.4% of budget

Superintendent and Recording Secretary Bob Ketcham reported the district is 50% through the school year with total revenues at 91.40% and total expenditures at 51.49%. He presented fund-level figures: Education revenues 90.86% and expenditures 48.77%; Operation & Maintenance revenues 101.3% and expenditures 59.62%; Debt revenues 101.89% and expenditures 93.66%; Transportation revenues 58.89% and expenditures 42.94%.

Following the presentation, Board Member Cooper moved and Board President Greg Ruff seconded approval of the financial report; the motion passed on roll call with five Yeas. The board also approved fund transfers to ensure expenses are paid from appropriate funds on a motion by Chambers and seconded by Kozak. Both motions were recorded as unanimous among members present. The transfers were described as necessary "to ensure that these expenditures are paid out of the correct fund."
