Greg Ruff, Board of Education president, called the Jan. 29 meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. The board approved the meeting agenda on a motion by Board Member Chambers, seconded by Board Member Kozak.
The board then approved a consent agenda that included minutes from the December regular meeting and executive session, the treasurer's report, activity and imprest account reports, January payroll and $271,563.07 for January disbursements, and authorization for the superintendent to begin work on the FY26 budget. "A motion by Cooper and seconded by Kozak to approve the consent agenda" passed on roll call with five Yeas and no Nays. Recording Secretary and Superintendent Bob Ketcham was listed as authorized to begin the FY26 budget process.
The approvals were procedural and passed unanimously among the members present. The consent vote ensures the district's routine financial and administrative items are recorded and moves preparatory budget work forward.
