Superintendent and recording secretary Bob Ketcham reported the district is 42% through the 2024–25 school year and presented a fund-by-fund summary showing revenues and expenditures. "The district is 42% through the school year. Revenues are 87.89% and Expenditures are 45.25%." Ketcham provided more detail: Education fund revenues 86.61% and expenditures 43.91%; Operation & Maintenance revenues 98.96% and expenditures 34.10%; Debt fund revenues 98.93% and expenditures 93.66%; Transportation fund revenues 57.99% and expenditures 34.42%; Social Security & IMRF revenues 92.59% and expenditures 36.92%.
The board approved the financial report on a motion by Wiesbrock, seconded by Mertel, by roll call. Ketcham also explained that recent fund transfers reflected grant accounting adjustments: several expense items initially recorded as debits will now show as credits because they are grant-funded, clarifying the ledger presentation for the auditors and the board.
