Santa Fe South board approves new elementary site at Crossroads Church for 2025–26

Superintendent Chris Brewster told the board the district plans to open a new elementary site at Crossroads Church on SW 89th and Shields Blvd., initially serving PreK–1 for the 2025–26 school year. He told members that the authorizer, Oklahoma City Community College, approved the expansion plans at its most recent meeting. The board approved the expansion 4-0 (motion by Ericka Flores; second by Susan Agel).
Board members asked about lease costs and grade configuration. The minutes record that lease costs will be a per-pupil amount and that the new site will follow Trinity’s phased growth model (starting PreK–1). Staff were directed to proceed with implementation steps for opening in the 2025–26 school year.
