The Santa Fe South Schools, Inc. Governance Board on Oct. 21 voted to reinstate Rosy Trujillo and Vicky Primeaux after both missed the required two consecutive regular meetings, a reinstatement required under the board's bylaws. Susan Agel moved the motion and Dr. Ed Frick seconded; the motion passed 3-0 with Susan Agel, Michael Brooks-Jimenez and Dr. Ed Frick recorded as voting yes.
Board documents presented at the meeting note that some consent-agenda items were pulled for individual consideration because several members had not accessed meeting documents in advance. The reinstatement restored the full slate of present board members for subsequent votes, which were recorded later in the meeting as 5-0 on a series of routine approvals.
