The Village of Loami Board of Trustees met Dec. 12 and handled routine municipal business, including adopting Resolution 2024-07 authorizing a mural and accepting the November treasurer's report.
Treasurer Brad Colantino presented the November 2024 report; Trustee Greg Patterson moved to accept it and Trustee Todd Lawson seconded. The board recorded a roll-call vote — Trustees Branson, Lawson, Mann, Patterson and Pippin voted aye — and the motion carried. Clerk Carissa Grider also presented the Nov. 14 meeting minutes and unpaid bills; both items were approved by vote or unanimous consent.
In new business the board approved Resolution 2024-07, described on the meeting agenda as a measure authorizing the Loami Area Wide Food Pantry to paint a mural on certain village-owned property. Trustee Greg Patterson moved the resolution; Trustee Rose Mann seconded and roll call showed all aye.
Mayor Steven Lambert reported no mayoral updates at the start of the session and later commended volunteers for the recent holiday event, saying "the Christmas in the park went well and was successful." The board set its next regular meeting for 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025.
