The Langley City Council on Jan. 6 adopted its consent agenda, approving payroll and vouchers totaling $49,468.48 and routine minutes and commission items. The consent package also included a contract with Transportation Solutions Inc. to update the Transportation Element of the Comprehensive Plan and reappointments of Dominique Emerson and Kevin Horan to the Public Works Advisory Commission.
Councilmember Craig Cyr moved to adopt the consent agenda; Councilmember Gail Fleming seconded. The motion passed unanimously; Councilmember Harolyn Bobis did not vote due to technical issues. The consent agenda also included authorization to schedule executive sessions to discuss potential litigation and confirmation of special council meetings in January and early February.
