The Tannehill Board of Education approved a consent agenda covering multiple policy and payroll items. The consent package included OSSBA policy updates (BEC – Executive Sessions; CKAK NEW2025 – Behavioral Threat Assessment; GBA – Open Records), the district's Anti‑Discrimination, Harassment and Anti‑Semitism Policy, and a motion to approve early direct deposit dates when the first of a month falls on a weekend or holiday. President Dave Cuenod made the motion and William Freeburg seconded; the board recorded a 3‑0 vote to approve the consent agenda items.
The payroll timing change is intended to keep the district on its regular pay schedule in months such as February, March, August and November 2026 by dating deposits for the Friday before the 1st, which could result in a month with two pay periods. The consent vote bundled routine policy updates and operational adjustments and passed unanimously.
