The motion to approve Ross‑Shropshire’s employment was made by Dave Cuenod, seconded by William Freeburg, and carried 2–0.
The board also approved an annual contract for Superintendent Jonathan Booth in the amount of $94,000 to run from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. That motion likewise passed 2–0. Chair Cuenod announced the executive session attendance and that no votes were taken during the closed session; the subsequent employment and contract approvals were taken in open session.
