Tannehill principal highlights state tournament berth, upcoming trips and youth programs

Principal Betsy Ross‑Shropshire told the board that the boys basketball team is heading to a state tournament on Thursday and that the district appreciates the Tannehill Fire Department, the sheriff’s office and the Choctaws for leading the team out. She also reported coaches are beginning preparations for girls softball and boys baseball and that Little Dribblers youth games start in March.
Ross‑Shropshire added that the history class has scheduled a day at the state capitol with Mr. Swboni, and that the academic team with Mrs. Taylor is performing well this season. The principal’s report was given as part of the regular agenda and required no board action.
