At the meeting, the Selectboard approved overweight permits to town specifications for Bakemark (Saratoga Springs), Gosselin Inc. Concrete & Excavating (Derby), Jack Corse (Cambridge), and Austin Construction (Concord). The motion to approve all permits was made by Ricky Morin, seconded by Clayton Whittemore, and the permits were signed.
Highway staff reported heavy snowbanks with limited places left to push snow; snow will be relocated to the town garage and other town properties. The department also reported mechanical issues with two trucks used for plowing. The board noted resident complaints that plow operations have pushed snow into private driveways and said there is no practical way to avoid that while maintaining roads.
