Lynwood Fire Department reports 108 calls during period; EMS Week and recruitment camp announced

Fire Chief LaShaun Alston briefed the Board that the Lynwood Fire Department handled 108 calls in the listed period, including 89 ambulance calls, four accidents with injury, two accidents without injury and one rubbish fire. He drew attention to EMS Week (May 19–25) and encouraged community support for local EMS providers.
Chief Alston also publicized a Fire and EMS Camp hosted by Prairie State College on Friday, June 21, at Country Club Hills Fire Department for those interested in becoming firefighters or EMTs. The Chief encouraged recruitment and participation in training opportunities.
