Board approves three payment batches totaling more than $1.4 million; trustees note $9,000 raised for scholarships

The Lynwood Board of Trustees approved three payment batches during its Aug. 27 meeting: BPM #1503 totaling $376,131.93 (including payroll of $193,458.07), BPM #1504 totaling $483,223.16 (payroll $171,028.61) and BPM #1505 totaling $570,568.91 (payroll $178,137.65). Each batch passed on unanimous roll-call votes.
Trustee Cynthia Eaves thanked participants in recent fundraisers and said they were able to provide roughly $9,000 toward scholarships for college students. The minutes do not break down which funds or accounts the scholarship dollars will come from or which students will be recipients.
