Michael Duell reported that efforts to co-locate the Mad River Path with a wastewater project were unsuccessful in the current scope, so the project will need to be amended to add the path. Engineers are preparing cost estimates for the additional work and the group scheduled a meeting for Sept. 17 to review those estimates and develop a strategy.
Duell said cost estimating is underway and emphasized the need to coordinate budgets and permitting with the wastewater project to pursue co-location. The commission recorded this update as part of liaison reports; no formal planning action or vote occurred at the Sept. 8 meeting.
