Grant County P&Z approves four building permits for shops, deck and storage container

The Grant County Planning & Zoning Board approved four building permits at its June 11, 2026 meeting. The permits approved were BLD-2026-018 (applicant Brody Finck) to construct a 40-foot by 48-foot shop; BLD-2026-019 (applicant Aaron Glaesemann) to construct a 40-foot by 60-foot shop; BLD-2026-020 (applicants Zachory and Jenny Friesz) to construct a 12-foot by 24-foot deck; and BLD-2026-021 (applicants Gregory and Melissa Feser) for placement of an 8-foot by 20-foot shipping container for storage.
Motions to approve were made and seconded by board members: AlRoy Hochhalter moved to approve BLD-2026-018 (seconded by Barb Kraft); Matt Hager moved to approve BLD-2026-019 (seconded by AlRoy Hochhalter); Barb Kraft moved to approve BLD-2026-020 (seconded by Matt Hager); and Vernon Straub moved to approve BLD-2026-021 (seconded by Matt Hager). The minutes record that "all were in favor" for each motion and that each motion carried.
