The Taloga Board of Education voted to accept resignations from Madison Stump, Kris Gore (coaching), Jalynn Gregg and Principal Cherice Fox. The acceptance of resignations was moved by Jerod Acre, seconded by Stacy King and recorded in the minutes as approved by the three members present.
After executive-session personnel discussions, the board approved multiple hires for the 2025–26 year and for summer work. The board hired Rayne Wherritt as junior/high school math teacher and Marci O’Hair as kindergarten teacher for 2025–26. The board also approved hiring listed support staff (names attached to the minutes); President Fred Stephenson abstained as to Kearinna Cash and Melissa Workman. Separately, the board approved hiring “Coach Stump” to install lockers over the summer at $20.00 per hour and permitted him to hire up to two youths at $10.00 per hour to assist.
