Public comments included an electronic submission opposing the closure from a resident who could not attend, plus in-person remarks: Douglas Miles stated opposition, and Jonathan Rufe and Kelly Conway described two closure options and cited a blind hill and speeding concerns as reasons for seeking the closure. On motion by Jim Nietupski, seconded by Gary Volovnik, the board authorized the letter to PennDOT; the motion passed with all present voting in favor.
