Jerome City officials held a special budget workshop July 16 to review FY2027 priorities, projected revenues and proposed expenditures. City Administrator Mike Williams told the council the budget book "would be provided next week" and said the tentative budget would be introduced on Aug. 4, with a final public hearing scheduled for Aug. 18.
The presentation covered general assumptions, proprietary fund recommendations and a list of capital purchases staff plans to include in the preliminary budget. Mayor Chris Barber and council members used the session to get high-level feedback before staff releases the full budget book and begins formal deliberations.
