Council unanimously approves Ellie’s Landing PUD final plat in west Jerome

The Jerome City Council unanimously approved the final plat for the Ellie’s Landing Planned Unit Development on July 7, 2026.
Planning and Zoning Manager Ida Clark told the council the development covers 3.68 acres, includes 28 units (27 new units plus one existing home), and reserves 22.6% of the site for common open space. Lot sizes for townhome units range from 2,475 to 2,772 square feet and single‑family lots range approximately 4,525 to 4,750 square feet. Clark said water and sewer lines will remain city‑owned while the private drives will be owned and maintained by a homeowners association. The developer will fund sewer improvements along 8th Avenue.
Centurion Engineers’ David Crawford confirmed accommodations for fire access and reiterated that underground infrastructure will be city‑owned. The council approved the final plat conditionally upon approved construction plans by unanimous vote.
