Superintendent Staci Derstein and school principals delivered several routine reports at the April 22 board meeting. Principal Brian Deterding said virtual school state assessment testing is complete and highlighted upcoming band and music festivals. Principal Travis Powell reported on regional band and vocal activities and other high school events.
Superintendent Derstein also requested volunteers to hand out diplomas at upcoming ceremonies (high school diplomas on May 11, 21st Century Learning Academy diplomas on May 11, and eighth-grade promotion certificates on May 13). She reported an upcoming accreditation team visit and progress on parking lot and athletic stadium repairs. President Ki Gamble gave a special education cooperative report and then declared the meeting adjourned at 8:54 p.m.
