Board approves agenda, minutes and $51,205.48 in February bills

The Board of Education of Unified School District No. 422, Kiowa County, approved the meeting agenda as amended and a set of routine actions during its Feb. 11, 2019 regular meeting.
President Ki Gamble called the meeting to order at 8:05 p.m. A motion by J. Wynn Fleener, seconded by Paul Kendall, approved the agenda with one addition and moved item 6A to be addressed immediately; the motion passed 7-0. The board then voted 7-0 to approve the minutes of the Jan. 28, 2019 regular meeting (motion by Paul Kendall; second by J. Wynn Fleener).
The board approved payment of February bills totaling $51,205.48 by a 7-0 vote after a motion by J. Wynn Fleener and second by Darren McDonald. No dissenting votes were recorded for the routine items.
The board’s unanimous votes concluded the routine business portion of the agenda and preceded presentations and reports later in the meeting.
