During the July 8 meeting the board rescinded policy statements recorded in minutes prior to June 30, 2019, and adopted a new policy manual presented by the superintendent to govern the district in 2019–20. The motion, moved by Ki Gamble and seconded by Darren McDonald, passed by recorded vote Yes: 6.
The board also set operational parameters for the school year: a mileage reimbursement rate of $0.45 per mile; a minimum of 1,116 hours for the 2019–20 school year; and petty cash limits of $1,500 for the clerk and $150 each for the high school and elementary/junior high. Each motion was recorded as passing unanimously in the minutes.
