County approves $137,340.49 share for CentralSquare public-safety software and CAD interface

IT Director Scott Mayes presented two annual maintenance and license renewal agreements with CentralSquare Technologies. The first covers public safety software systems (911, Jail, Records, Communications, Reporting, Crime Analysis/Management Integrations, Fire and Data Sharing) with a total contract amount of $304,378.13; Bartholomew County's share is $135,789.14, the City of Columbus share is $157,218.03 and Columbus Fire Department's share is $11,370.96. Mayes said the County initially pays $1,213.33 for Hope Police Department and $5,940.88 for Columbus Regional Hospital and then bills those entities for reimbursement.
The second agreement is for a CAD Interface that links 911 CAD data with Dispatch audio recording; County share $1,551.35, City share $1,896.10, total $3,447.45. Bartholomew County's total cost for both agreements is $137,340.49 and the county's portion will be paid from the IT budget. Commissioner Carl H. Lienhoop moved to approve both agreements; Commissioner Larry S. Kleinhenz seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The agreements continue the county's participation in shared public-safety systems with the city and local partners; the county will bill partner agencies for their portions where recorded.
