Selectboard approves contract amendment restoring 40 vacation hours to Town Manager

The Selectboard entered executive session on June 8 under 1 V.S.A. § 313(a)(1)(A) to discuss the Town Manager’s contract and returned at 8:30 p.m. Upon return the board voted unanimously to approve Amendment No. 1 to the Town Manager employment agreement, authorizing the Selectboard Chair to sign on behalf of the board.
Chair Mike Todd explained the amendment corrects an oversight that had shorted the Town Manager of 40 hours of vacation time; the contract now aligns with the town’s Personnel Policy and "does not increase salary, create additional compensation, or modify any other material terms of the employment."
