County to use $482,764 in LRA funds; approves resurfacing Ricketson Road

Graham recommended that the county use LRA funds under LMIG program guidance and include Ricketson Road for resurfacing. He estimated the Ricketson Road project cost at approximately $750,000 and said the county would offset the difference with T‑SPLOST funds. Commissioner Richard Burley, Jr., moved to approve resurfacing Ricketson Road; Commissioner Allen L. Troy seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Graham noted that project applications must be submitted through the GDOT website by June 15, 2026.
The board recorded that LRA funds do not require a local match.
