Board appoints Gloria Clark to elections board; second vacancy tabled

The Warren County Board of Commissioners unanimously appointed Gloria Clark to the Board of Elections at its April 14 meeting and tabled a second appointment.
Chairman John R. Graham explained two vacancies exist after Amanda Wilkerson resigned and the unexpected passing of Rev. Rose B. Reynolds, whose term runs through Dec. 31, 2026. Graham said he had spoken with Gloria Clark, who has assisted with elections previously and would be honored to serve. Commissioner Allen L. Troy moved to appoint Gloria Clark and to table the second appointment; Commissioner Richard Burley, Jr., seconded and the vote was unanimous.
The board did not name a replacement to complete Rev. Reynolds' term during the meeting; that decision was deferred.
