The Warren County Board of Commissioners approved a schedule for the FY 2026–27 budget process at its April 14 meeting.
Chairman John R. Graham said elected officials and department heads must submit budgets by Thursday, May 7, 2026. The board scheduled a Special Called Meeting for Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. to discuss the tentative budget; final adoption will be considered at the June regular meeting. Commissioner Richard Burley, Jr., moved to approve the budget dates and Commissioner Allen L. Troy seconded; the vote was unanimous.
The calendar sets procedural milestones ahead of the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026.
