‘Till the Break of Dawn’ festival cleared with noise and access conditions for early-September event

The Park County Board of Commissioners approved Outdoor Event Permit Case PZ-2026-0095 for the Till the Break of Dawn festival (applicant Kristopher Denton) to be held Sept. 4–6, 2026, on a 40-acre parcel at 2688 County Road 333, Lake George. Presenters included Shelly Yarbrough and Andy Grand; applicant Kristopher Denton provided rebuttal. Opponent Suzanne Vanhall spoke and Joshua Vores offered a comment; Steven Woolwine also spoke.
The approval included noise limits (65 dB until midnight and 55 dB from midnight to 2 a.m.), a prohibition on music after 2 a.m. until 8 a.m., planning commission and staff conditions, a rain/access cancellation trigger based on 1/2" rainfall affecting road access, at least 250 gallons of standby water on site, mowing of grass taller than 3 inches, an insurance policy meeting packet requirements, and measures to rope off areas to prevent trespass. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Gemmer and carried 3-0.
