At the request of Trustee Cody Houghton, the board pulled one volunteer from the grouped approvals so Houghton could abstain from that specific item; the remaining items were approved on voice votes. The subsequent overall personnel vote (including the pulled handling) was recorded as 6-0 with one abstention.
The superintendent noted that an internal transfer (Stephanie Bridal into an interventionist position) did not require board action. Trustees asked a clarifying question about volunteer status; one trustee said the pulled volunteer could be addressed separately later. The meeting record shows the personnel actions were approved and follow-up processing will be handled by administration.
