During Citizens to Be Heard on June 9, resident Karen O'Neil of 2179 Sherwood Drive described recurring road flooding in the Sherwood Forest subdivision that impedes travel and poses safety and accessibility problems for elderly or medically vulnerable residents. She asked the council what solutions are planned to address the issue.
Other speakers praised city stormwater work: Hubert Schouten commended staff and the mayor for assistance on neighborhood matters, and C.J. Allen thanked staff for responsiveness, requested continued updates on stormwater projects, and raised questions about garbage and yard-waste collection schedules and the pet registration program.
