Board approves fence, security cameras and safety manual; tree pile fence passes 3-2

The board approved several infrastructure and security items on July 20. By a 3-2 vote (Mr. Beaulieu and Mr. Goeden opposed) the board authorized American Fence to install a 168-foot-long, 20-foot-high galvanized fence with a 20-foot manual gate at the tree pile for $13,114.93 after a motion by Mr. Shorma and a second by Mr. Hanson.
Separately, Mr. Goeden moved (seconded by Ms. Finzen) to approve two security cameras at the cold storage building for $6,327.88; that motion passed 5-0. The board also approved installation of up to four security cameras at the water plant, not to exceed $15,000. The board approved a revised CID employee safety manual as written on a 5-0 vote (motion by Ms. Finzen, seconded by Mr. Shorma).
