Engineered drawings for school stairs due; board to seek permits and bids next

At the Feb. 24 meeting Mr. Berg reported that engineered drawings for a stairs capital project are forthcoming and that he will present drawings and cost estimates at the next board meeting. He recommended that once plans are available the district initiate permit applications and solicit bids.
The minutes state demolition of the existing stairs is not included in the stairs project scope. The board did not record cost estimates or a timeline; Mr. Berg indicated he would present those materials at the March meeting.
