Dixie School District board elects Lisa Davis chair, names Kailynn Townsend vice-chair

Lisa Davis, chair of the Dixie School District No. 101 Board of Directors, was elected board chair at the regular meeting on Jan. 27, 2025. The motion to nominate Davis was made by board member Javin Berg and seconded by Nicole Novak; the nominations carried unanimously.
Kailynn Townsend was nominated and elected vice-chair after Lisa Davis placed her name in nomination and Nicole Novak seconded. The board recorded unanimous support for the slate of officers. The board had been advised that several board positions will be open or up for renewal in 2025, and the next regular meeting is scheduled for Feb. 24, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
